After graduating from the departmant of Economics at Middle East Technical University at Ankara,
Günseli Türkay studied fashion design in Florence.

She worked as a fashion designer in İstanbul for important brands such as MUDO and Mexx for five
years. In 2004 she opened her design office named as PASAJ İstanbul to give a design service and
brand consultancy for the fashion brands and export manufacturers who are working mainly with
Zara and H&M.

The first collection of the designer brand named as Günseli Türkay was launched for the first time at
İstanbul Fashion Week in February 2009. Artsy fashion is the concept of the brand. She is transfering
the paintings of contemproary artists to fancy fabrics and creating high end dresses.

In December 2009 she won the Young Fashion Entreprenuer Award. The competition was organised
by the British Council and IMA. Günseli Türkay presented Turkey at the London Fashion Week in
February 2010.

She is selling her collections to HongKong, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Lebanon and London. She currently
opened her first flagship store in İstanbul in September 2011.
